Seven of India’s top corporate leaders are set to attend a high-profile meeting with US President Donald Trump during the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos, Switzerland, according to an exclusive report by NDTV Profit.
The closed-door session will take place on January 21, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and will include a select group of 146 global corporate leaders. The meeting is expected to focus on global economic trends, trade relations, and investment opportunities.
India’s representation at the summit reflects the strength of its business and technology sectors. The Indian leaders attending include Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran, Wipro CEO Srini Pallia, and Bharti Enterprises Founder Sunil Bharti Mittal.
Other Indian participants include Mahindra Group CEO Dr. Anish Shah, Bajaj Finserv Chairman Sanjiv Bajaj, Jubilant Bhartia Group Co-Chairman Hari S. Bhartia, and Infosys CEO Salil Parekh.
The meeting comes at a crucial time as India and the United States continue discussions on a potential trade agreement. If finalized, the deal could significantly improve investor confidence and market sentiment. While recent signals suggest that talks between the two countries have eased, no official announcement has been made yet.
Donald Trump is one of the key global figures attending the World Economic Forum this year. Other notable attendees include JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Notably, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not attending the World Economic Forum this year, making the participation of India’s top business leaders even more significant.
As global investors closely watch developments at Davos, this meeting between Trump and Indian corporate leaders could play an important role in shaping future US-India economic ties.
