Security Alert: Bomb Threats at Multiple Delhi Schools
Security teams and bomb disposal squads are conducting thorough searches across the national capital today. At least 10 schools in Delhi received bomb threat emails on Monday morning, leading to a large-scale security response.
Emergency Response and Search Operations
The Delhi Fire Services (DFS) reported that emergency calls came in from several schools throughout the city during the early morning hours. In response, fire engines and bomb disposal teams were immediately sent to the locations.
“A total of 10 schools received bomb threats today. Our teams reached the buildings quickly, and search operations are currently underway,” a DFS official confirmed.
Precautionary Evacuations
To ensure the safety of students and staff, all affected schools were evacuated immediately. Specialized units, including bomb detection squads and dog squads, are now carefully inspecting the premises for anything suspicious.
While the searches are extensive, authorities are treating these measures as a necessary precaution to protect the school communities.
