Nothing Phone 4a Series Tipped to Launch in Early March
The Carl Pei-led tech firm, Nothing, is expected to launch its new mid-range smartphones, the Nothing Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro, on March 5. According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the global launch is just weeks away, and both models are set to receive significant upgrades.
Expected Upgrades for Phone 4a and 4a Pro
Leaked details suggest that the new series will bring several improvements to performance and design:
- Faster Storage: Both models are expected to feature UFS 3.1 storage. This is a major upgrade from the UFS 2.2 used in previous models, ensuring apps and files load much faster.
- Fresh Design: The phones will likely feature a new look, continuing Nothing’s signature transparent aesthetic with refined elements.
- Bigger Battery: The battery capacity is expected to increase slightly. Recent certifications for the Pro model point to a 5,080mAh battery with 50W fast charging.
- Snapdragon Power: Both devices are expected to run on Snapdragon 7-series chipsets, providing smooth daily performance and better efficiency.
Shifting Focus to the Mid-Range Market
This news follows Nothing’s earlier confirmation that it will not release a new flagship phone in 2026. Instead, the company is focusing on its “a-series” to offer premium, “flagship-inspired” features at a more affordable price point.
However, the added features and rising costs of components may lead to a higher price tag. Reports suggest the Phone 4a series will be more expensive than its predecessors.
Launch Timeline and Pricing History
If the March 5 date is correct, it aligns with last year’s release schedule. For comparison, the Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro launched in India in March 2025:
- Phone 3a: Started at Rs 22,999 (available in Black, Blue, and White).
- Phone 3a Pro: Started at Rs 27,999 (available in Black and Grey).
While the official price for the 4a series is not yet confirmed, the upcoming launch at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) is expected to reveal all the final details for global markets.
