Several companies are scheduled to reward their shareholders this week. Six specific firms PI Industries, AK Capital Services, NBCC (India), Stratmont Industries, Dhunseri Ventures, and Spice Islands Industries have set their record dates for dividend payments.

Understanding Record and Ex Dividend Dates

To receive a dividend, investors must understand the record date. This is the cutoff date set by a company to determine which shareholders are eligible for the payout.

Under India’s T+1 settlement cycle, buying shares on the record date is too late to qualify for the dividend. You must own the shares at least one day before the record date. For example, if the record date is February 23, 2026, you must purchase the shares by February 22, 2026.

The ex-dividend date usually falls one business day before the record date. This is when the stock price typically adjusts to account for the dividend payout.

Top Dividend Stocks This Week

Among the companies paying dividends this week, AK Capital Services leads the pack with the highest payout. The company declared a second interim dividend of Rs 22 per share and set February 24, 2026, as the record date.

PI Industries has announced an interim dividend of Rs 5 per share, with the record date set for February 23, 2026.

Dhunseri Ventures declared an interim dividend of Rs 3.5 per share. Their record date is February 27, 2026, and eligible shareholders can expect payment by March 6, 2026.

Spice Islands Industries will pay Rs 0.50 per share to those on the books by February 27, 2026. Meanwhile, NBCC (India) and Stratmont Industries have declared smaller dividends of Rs 0.12 and Rs 0.10, respectively.
