Search Underway After Three Inmates Escape Jammu Juvenile Home
Three inmates, including two Pakistani nationals, escaped from a juvenile observation home in Jammu on Monday. The escape occurred in the RS Pura border area after the individuals allegedly attacked and injured two police officers on duty.
Details of the Incident
The incident took place around 5:15 PM at the juvenile facility. According to authorities, the three individuals turned violent against the guards before fleeing the premises.
The escapees have been identified as:
- Karajeet Singh (also known as Gugga), a local resident of Dablehar, RS Pura.
- Mohammad Suna-ullah, a Pakistani national.
- Ahsan Anwar, a Pakistani national.
Police Response and Investigation
Two police officers sustained injuries during the scuffle. Officials confirmed they have taken formal note of the incident and have launched a full investigation into how the security breach occurred.
Ongoing Search Operation
Special police teams have been formed to track down the three missing individuals. Authorities are currently conducting raids at various locations across the region to find and apprehend them.
