Good morning readers. The NSE Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex opened slightly higher on Friday ahead of the Union Budget presentation. The Nifty 50 opened 0.05% higher at 25,333, while the Sensex rose 0.14% to 82,388.97.
By 10:20 a.m., both the Nifty and Sensex were trading more than 0.20% higher. However, some sectoral indices remained under pressure, with Nifty Metal and Nifty IT stocks trading lower.
